Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson unveils his own tequila brand Teremana Tequila: ‘This blessing is truly a dream come true’
He has made a habit of toasting good times with a shot of tequila on his hit HBO show Ballers and on his social media platforms.
And now Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is launching his very own brand of tequila!
The A-list actor and former wrestler, 47, took to Instagram on Wednesday for the big reveal of Teremana Tequila, which should be available for fans to snatch up by the first quarter of 2020.

‘The name is official: Ladies and gents, I proudly bring you, TEREMANA TEQUILA,’ he began in the caption of a picture of himself standing in front of the distillery crew.
‘TERA is meant to represent Terre which means of the earth and MANA is our powerful Polynesian spirit that guides us. Spirit of the earth.’
The Fast and Furious actor went on to explain the process of making the alcoholic beverage, and that the plans to make his own brand had been in the works for years.

‘Our goal is to create a tequila that is the best of quality and taste, but done the right way – by hand. Small batch, hand crafted tequila from our Teremana blue agave, maturing in the highlands of Jalisco, for everyone to enjoy.’
He added, ‘This blessing is truly a dream come true – but it’s just the beginning and there’s much work to be done. I’m committed with my team to bring you the best tequila, because quality and legacy are what matter most.’
He ended the marketing maneuver by inviting everyone ‘to come have a drink’ of ‘the tequila of the people.’

As for his day job: Johnson stars in the upcoming fantasy adventure comedy, Jumanji: The Next Level.
The Jumanji sequel, that also includes Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan and Nick Jonas, is set to hit theaters in the US December 13, 2019.
He also plays the lead in the adventure film, Jungle Cruise, which is based on the Disney theme park attraction, alongside Emily Blunt.
It is slated to premiere July 24, 2020.
